What makes you a writer?

I think that you are a writer the moment you create something unique,

something that comes from your soul.

In my humble opinion you are a writer the moment you pick up a writing utensil and put words to paper or screen. While you may not choose to share what you wrote with others, you still created something original, something from your mind, heart or soul.
